The car has been professionally wrapped in white vinyl with full Ghostbusters decals and comes with white-wall tyres and the original red steel Cadillac wheels with modified chrome hubcaps to match the original movie car.
This project has been a labour of love for us and has taken a great deal of time and patience to complete. Inside the interior has the original blue brocade with electric windows and seats. The engine purrs quietly, the automatic gears shift smoothly and the suspension is as soft as Marshmallow man himself. As the car was previously used as a Hearse in West Plains, Missouri it has been extremely well cared for and its condition is first class. The car has just over 53, 000 genuine original miles on the clock and drives like an absolute dream. Although it looks like something from the 1970s or 80s, this GB recreation is in fact based on a 1991 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham Hearse built by Superior Coachbuilders in the States. This Ghostbusters Ecto-1 Replica is based on the car from the 2016 movie directed by Paul Feig and featuring the first all-female cast including Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones. Although this new Ghostbusting reincarnation does not have all the fins and curves of the original 59’ Miller-Meteor Ambulance we can guarantee that it does turn as many heads (and it’s much nicer to drive!). When Hollywood decided to make a new Ghostbusters movie there was one thing that was certain to remain in the lead role and that was the infamous Ecto-1 Cadillac.
